Global Commitment
The Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service (CSJ)'s Mission Statement proclaims our commitment to promote and integrate community-based research, teaching and service "by collaborating with diverse partners and communities." Our concept of "diverse partners and communities" is quite broad. We aim to collaborate with partners from:
• the District of Columbia and surrounding areas;
• states throughout the United States; and
• countries throughout the world.
Some examples of our global commitment include the annual Kenya educational immersion trip for faculty and administrators, and our summer opportunities in Latin America and Africa for students.
