Social Justice Themes
For many faculty these are compelling questions: What does justice mean? What does social justice mean? Do those terms have different meanings for different groups? What are instances of injustice at the local, national and global levels? What are visions of a more just world? Who is working to effect such visions?
Beginning in 2006-2007, the Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service has been hosting faculty conversations to explore various ways those questions can be addressed in the context of academic courses and programs. We welcome your input into the on-going conversations.
CSJ plays a crucial role in enhancing the University's consideration of the Justice Report.
