  • Join Together Online: A national resource center for communities working to reduce substance abuse and gun violence.

  • National Association for Campus Activities: NACA is a member-based, nonprofit association composed of colleges and universities, talent firms and artists/performers, student programmers and leaders, and professional campus activities staff.   It is a clearinghouse and catalyst for information, ideas and programs promoting a variety of college and university activities, from leadership development to student programming.

  • Student Coalition for Action in Literacy EducationSCALE is a national organization that mobilizes college students to address the literacy needs of this country through partnership with community agencies, service organizations, new readers, students, faculty and administrators.

  • Teach For America: A national corps of outstanding and diverse recent college graduates, of all academic majors, who commit two years to teach in under-resourced urban and rural public schools. Each year, over 1,000 corps members reach more than 100,000 students at thirteen locations across the country. Alumni choose careers in many fields and continue as lifelong leaders in the pursuit of educational excellence for all children.

  • The Washington Center:The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars is an academically-based structure with which students pursue  internships that help them explore and prepare for the professional world.  Once you have been accepted as a Washington Center intern, it helps place you in the field that will lead you to achieving your stated goals.  Financial assistance may be available.
