Clinica Del Pueblo Provides health care for primarily Spanish-speaking HIV patients. Volunteers who do not speak Spanish are welcome, and would be responsible for vital signs, phlebotomy and clerical work. Northern Virginia AIDS Ministry Works to educate the community about HIV/AIDS in addition to providing critical services for those with HIV and AIDS. Hospice of Prince George's County Provides a variety of services to terminally ill individuals, including: nursing, medical social work, respite care, emotional support, bereavement support. Volunteers needed in three areas: home care, office, and bereavement. Homecare volunteers work directly with the patients and families. Office volunteers perform administrative duties. Project Champ/Children's National Medical Center Addresses the needs of children and their families affected by HIV. Volunteers needed to become buddies with HIV-affected children. Volunteers can become involved in many ways: being a hospital buddy, clinic buddy, home buddy, assisting in organizing special events, or as an administrative buddy.
