Students

The Center for Social Justice (CSJ) provides opportunities for students to get involved in service and social action programs in a variety of ways, including staff-run programs, a pre-orientation program, alternative spring break trips and summer global immersion trips.

CSJ also sponsors 40 student organizations that are addressing a myriad of social justice issues, from human trafficking to HIV/AIDS.

Academic programs for students include Community-Based Learning, Community-Based Research, the Fourth Credit Option for Social Action and the Program on Justice and Peace.

There are job opportunities at CSJ, and awards and funding opportunities to recognize and support the social justice work of students.

All of these opportunities have been designed to provide Georgetown students with an array of opportunities to explore the Jesuit ideal of men and women for others and to support the Georgetown mission of educating reflective lifelong learners.
