The University’s mission statement speaks of “our commitment to justice and the common good.” One way that commitment is made real is in the courses Georgetown offers.
A special type of social justice course is a community-based learning (CBL) course. If you are you interested in integrating service work in the local community with a course as you learn more about social justice, CBL courses provide exactly that. The Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service helps students locate CBL courses as well as other kinds of social justice courses.
