Blanket New Orleans 2010

GU Blanket New Orleans will be traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana, to assist the local community with the rebuilding process in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  Although it has been more than four years since the storm, New Orleans is still suffering from physical property and economic devastation.  Blanket New Orleans ASB will not only be helping rebuild houses still in disrepair from Hurricane Katrina, the trip will also help to raise continuous awareness and appreciation for the unique culture after the suffering and rebirth of the New Orleans and Gulf Coast areas.

This year, BNO will be working with the St. Bernard Project, a non-profit service organization helping in the rebuilding efforts in the New Orleans metro area.
